Director of Products → Grizzly Industrial / 2025/Present

Leading a 50+ person global product organization across 63 product lines and 10,000+ products for Grizzly, Shop Fox, and South Bend.

→ At Grizzly, I lead product strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle, including product management, engineering, design, sourcing, purchasing, quality, pricing, merchandising, inventory, logistics, service, and technical documentation. My role connects customer needs, product development, manufacturing, operations, and business performance across a large and complex physical-product portfolio.

Business Operations Lead, LatAm → Piaggio Group / 2023/24 ****

Led business operations across 24 Latin American markets for Vespa, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, and Piaggio brands.

→ I joined Piaggio after selling Beyond, bringing an owner-operator perspective into a large global mobility company. I worked with distributors and global teams across parts and accessories, service, warranty, after-sales operations, and customer experience. During that time, service turnaround dropped from about two weeks to three days, and warranty processing went from roughly four weeks to four days.

Head of Product & Co-Founder → Beyond / 2015/23

Built a subscription-based micromobility company combining electric vehicles, including e-bikes and scooters, connected hardware, software, and operations.

→ We started Beyond around a simple idea: instead of selling another vehicle, could we build a better way for people to move around a city? I led product, design, engineering, manufacturing, and much of the operating system behind the business. We developed electric bikes and scooters, IoT hardware, smart locks, safety products, and the systems needed to manage a subscription fleet. The business grew to more than 2,000 vehicles, became profitable, and was acquired in 2023.

Design Director & Founder → manuel saez & partners 2008/15

Founded and led an industrial design and product development consultancy working with companies across furniture, consumer products, and commercial environments.

→ I founded the practice and led client relationships, teams, projects, budgets, and product development across a wide range of engagements. I worked closely with engineering and manufacturing partners around the world, bringing products to market for companies including Herman Miller, Geiger, CB2, Staples, and others. Several engagements became long-term embedded leadership roles, giving me responsibility not just for individual products, but for teams, portfolios, processes, and business decisions.
